Task: Practicing light

 We were assigned to practice light affect on different angles, it was a task of photography, here are some of the pictures I took through different angles:

Planning: Picking The Song (OLD) Again

 The initial choice, "Shaayad" by Taba Chake, involved a lot of location scouting and travel, which became impractical for us due to transportation issues. As a result, we decided to switch to a different song. For our next selection, we focused on something that could be filmed mainly indoors and had a shorter duration. 2. Nadaaniyan - Akshath:  I was really excited about Nadaaniyan so I  motivated my team to choose it as our next project. Since it’s only 2:51 long and involves just two actors, we felt it would be a great fit to move forward with.

(Short film) Reply (2022): •Directed by Elle Mills •Aesthetically pleasing •Costume design is very effective & gives good insight into each character •Interesting camera angles and shots, giving a self-shot feel

History of Music Videos!

 Music videos, in their modern form, were introduced in the 1970s, but their origins go back much further. • Early 20th Century (1920s-1950s): Short musical films (soundies) were played on visual jukeboxes like the Scopitone. •1960s: The Beatles and Bob Dylan made promotional films that resemble modern music videos. •1975: Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is often credited as the first true music video. •1981: MTV launched, making music videos a key part of the industry. So while music videos existed in some form for decades, their mainstream introduction really began in the 1970s and exploded in popularity with MTV in the 1980s.
