Research: Music video Inspiration

 These are some music videos we took inspiration from:

•Desaturated but interesting color scheme

•Good lip syncing

•Simple shots overall but still effective


2. Bizness by tUnE-yArDs:

•Directed by Mimi Cave

•Expressive acting

•Unique costume design & makeup

•Unique camera shots

•Good choreography


3. (Fan-made) Tim I Wish You Were Born a Girl by of Montreal:

•Directed by Ranne Miloy

•Very simple, but good lip syncing, misc-en-scene and acting

•The cuts follow the beat of the song in an interesting way

•Aesthetically pleasing


4. (Short film) Reply (2022):

•Directed by Elle Mills

•Aesthetically pleasing

•Costume design is very effective & gives good insight into each character

•Interesting camera angles and shots, giving a self-shot feel

 Creative critical reflection: Candidates must write an evaluative essay of around 1000–1500 words.
