PLANNING: COSTUME DESIGN

  Given the project’s strong reliance on visual storytelling, we made costume design a key focus, alongside set decoration and props. The outfits were thoughtfully curated to reflect the character’s quirky and imaginative nature, while still hinting at a laid-back, everyday style. This blend of boldness and subtlety helped us visually communicate the character’s essence in a compelling yet grounded way.As I was costume designer I choose these outfits for our character:

 Creative critical reflection: Candidates must write an evaluative essay of around 1000–1500 words. This critical reflection of their work should be guided by the following compulsory questions: • How do your products represent social groups or issues? • How do the elements of your production work together to create a sense of ‘branding’? • How do your products engage with the audience? • How did your research inform your products and the way they use or challenge conventions?
